As Mark reminded us from Psalms 139 this past Sunday...God knows us pretty well. He recommended that we "pot" ourselves in church and "not forsake the assembling"...we must need something there.

The pots I originally had the lemon trees in weren't draining, so I headed to Wal-mart in Waveland for potting soil and better, $5.00 pots. The trees are looking pretty raggedy. I also found some little white bugs all over them as I re-potted. I had nothing to put on the plants, so I sprayed them with "Deep Woods Off." It burns my skin...I should have realized that it really wouldn't be good for the plants. I may have lost a couple (maybe all).
Not everything that might appear to be a quick fix is good for us. I think that every time I look at brown edged and curling leaves on the trees. If they make it to maturity...its going to be in spite of me. If I make it to heaven, that will be in spite of me too...it will all be due to the LORD. The master gardner, shepherd and physician.
